Carol A. Ammon founded Endo Pharmaceuticals in 1997. She served as President and CEO until her retirement in 2005. She served as Chairman of the Board of Endo from April 2003 until May 2007. Prior to founding Endo, Ms. Ammon was the President of DuPont Merck’s U.S. Pharmaceuticals Division from 1996 through 1997, and from 1993 through 1995 she was the President of DuPont Merck’s Generic Products Division. Ms. Ammon is also a Director of the Delaware Art Museum and a Trustee of Adelphi University in New York.
